Adventure tours set hotel guests on the high road
Top Perthshire country house hotel Pine Trees in Pitlochry is letting guests take the high road this Autumn and Winter with adventure packages in the latest Land Rovers and Range Rovers.

The spectacular 20 bedroom hotel in Pitlochry ( is offering two nights dinner, bed and breakfast for two people for £530 including a thrilling half day of off-road driving over hills and obstacles and through swamps at the Land Rover Experience at nearby Dunkeld.

“Our partnership with the Land Rover Experience gives guests the best of both worlds,” said Valerie Kerr who owns and runs Pine Trees with husband Robert.

“Before and after the adrenalin rush of putting top-of-the-range off-road vehicles through their paces amid Highland Perthshire’s stunning scenery they can relax and enjoy the best of Scottish food and hospitality back at a country house hotel with panoramic views over hills and woods.”

The package, based on two people sharing a standard room with a free upgrade to a superior room if available, is available until March 2012 (excluding Christmas and New Year). Accommodation and places on the ‘Land Rover Experience’ are subject to availability.
