Etape Bike Race Package 11th & 12th May 2012

Etape Caledonia, an 81 mile cycle event which follows a challenging circular route through the magnificent scenery of Highland Perthshire, will take place on Sunday 13 May this year. Whether you are a keen cyclist, and taking part in this annual bike ride, or you merely wish to join the throng to watch the start or finish in the centre of Pitlochry, the Pine Trees Hotel offers the ideal place to stay.

Situated a few minute's walk from all the activity and excitement, yet set in its own secluded gardens, the Pine Trees Hotel is offering special Bike Race packages for the nights of Friday 11 and Saturday 12 May. Included in the special weekend package are: secure bike storage, special energy-boosting pasta dishes on the menu, and an early-bird breakfast on the Sunday – the race starts at 06.45am!

Choose from one of the Pine Trees Hotel's 20 individually designed en-suite rooms, which range from single to double and twin, as well as two luxurious four poster rooms, all of which are perfect for a sound night's sleep -pre-race or not! All rooms have complimentary tea & coffee making facilities, and you will find luxury toiletries in the bathrooms.

The pretty Victorian town of Pitlochry will be bustling with activity for the whole weekend and, if
cycling is not your "thing", the Pine Trees Hotel offers you its ten acres of peaceful woodland gardens to explore - you might even spot a red squirrel or a roe deer! Alternatively, you could head out of town to enjoy some of the many attractions in the surrounding area. Please note that stretches of some of the local roads will be closed for periods during the day of the race, but the friendly staff at the Pine Trees Hotel will be able to advise you of the timings.
