After all the bustle and excitement of Christmas, why not escape from the confines of your own kitchen and let someone else take care of you for a change. At the Pine Trees Hotel, we are offering a special Twixmas deal, from 27 – 30 December, when you can enjoy our luxurious surroundings and delicious cuisine – with no washing up! At the same time you can experience the peace and quiet of the Scottish Highlands, either in our beautiful ten-acre garden, or further afield. To take advantage of this offer, come and stay for two or three nights, with dinner, bed and breakfast included.
Should you feel adventurous, there is plenty of activity in the local area to keep you entertained. Local bar, McKays, will be holding an “open mic” night on 27th and everyone is welcome for a foot-tapping evening of music, song and fun. Anyone with an inclination to join in and play an instrument is particularly welcome!
For a different kind of fun, Blair Castle will be open for the Bruadar Whisky Trail between 10.00am and 4.00pm from 28th – 31st December, so go along and hunt the castle’s nooks and crannies for miniature bottles and be in with a chance of winning a prize.
Depending on the weather, you might like to play a few holes at Pitlochry’s “Hidden Gem” golf course, or take a gentle stroll round Loch Dunmore in Faskally Wood, where the Enchanted Forest is held each autumn. For a wet day, try a visit to the Watermill Bookshop & Gallery in Aberfeldy where you can browse their packed shelves, or see the exhibition of Scottish artist Murray Grigor’s quirky photo-images.
