As Scotland’s only major, rurally located arts organisation, Pitlochry Festival Theatre is more than simply a place to come and see a show, their purpose is to improve lives by sharing Pitlochry with the world and the world with Pitlochry. Nestled amidst the stunning landscapes of Highland Perthshire and offers a truly enchanting setting for theatre enthusiasts. The Theatre buildings and outdoor venues are set in a stunning 11-acre site, with Ben-y-Vrackie amongst the Perthshire hills towering above and the River Tummel flowing below.
2026 Line Up
Under the Artistic Direction of Alan Cumming, Pitlochry Festival Theatre attracts the very best actors who are supported by superb scenery produced by the theatre's own in-house team. The theatre has a full programme of exciting productions featuring Scotland’s biggest talents, festivals, ceilidhs, workshops, exhibitions, tours and talks through the year.
